Organization Description | We are a small but dynamic group of women entrepreneurs and business owners who meet once per month to share our goals, successes, challenges and business leads. If you are looking for a supportive, non-competitive environment, where you can network with other like-minded business women, this could be the right group for you. We meet on the last Thursday of each month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at a location along the Peninsula in Burlingame. At the beginning of the meeting, each woman introduces herself and her business and describes what types of leads she is looking for and/or shares any recent successes or other news she may have. Then, a speaker from inside the group talks about her business in more detail and receives suggestions for marketing, leads and other valuable feedback afterwards from group members, with the focus completely being on supporting her business success. On occasion, we also host outside speakers or have meetings around a specific topic of interest. Women from every business background and from any location throughout the Bay Area are welcome. There is no fee to participate, only the cost of your beverage or dinner. The only requirement is a dedication to maintain an environment that Supports and Encourages other business women and, if you decide to join, regular meeting attendance (75% of the time) to promote the group and the success of its members.
