Hosted By Business Marketing Association
Description If you've ever conducted an event in Europe, you know that events
are run a little differently than in the U.S. More than any other
direct marketing activity, successful events rely on making a
personal connection. If it's a tradeshow, a custom event, a
webinar in the U.S., you have to be tuned in to local customs and
institutions. If you conduct that same event in Europe, double
the amount of sensitivity and savvy you'll need to deal with
cultural differences, logistics and strategies. There's a lot
more than language you'll need to translate.

In business today, results mean bottom line impact. Incentive,
Employee Recognition, Motivation and Safety and Tenure Programs
all can help increase your bottom line. Incentive and recognition
programs work---especially when they're well thought out, well
planned and strategically developed. Join us at the February
NorCal BMA Events and Promotions Roundtable to learn how to
maximize the benefit of these important organizational
development tools Bob Dawson is an expert in Incentive program
development and will show you how to get the best return on your
investment.

Speaker Biography:

Susanne Khawand, VP US Operations, MaCS, Inc.

Bob Dawson, CITE has been involved in the Incentive & Recognition
Industry for over 22 years. During this time, Bob has planned and
implemented Incentive & Recognition Programs for companies from
all industry groups ranging in size from Fortune 100 companies to
small privately held organizations.

In 1991, Bob introduced, what is still today, the most
comprehensive method for determining Incentive Program Return on
Investment. Since that time, Bob's method has been recognized,
through independent studies, to be the best method for
determining the true value of Incentive & Recognition Programs.
Bob is considered the expert for the Incentive & Recognition
Industry on this topic.

Bob is a Certified Incentive & Travel Executive (CITE), a member
of the Board of Trustees for the Incentive Research Foundation
and a former President of the Silicon Valley Marketing
Association. Today, Bob represents The Certif-A-Gift Company as
an Incentive & Recognition Specialist.

B2B Power Exchange is a lead exchange group that focuses on helping entrepreneurs, CEOs, consultants and business development pros that sell to senior decision makers at companies with $10 million or more in annual revenues. Our members focus on large, complex business-to-business sales, so most lead groups and Chamber mixers don't provide them with the resources they need. We're different. Our forum of power players knows that the fastest way to the executive suite is through partnerships with others focused on B2B. That's why we leverage our combined skills and executive contacts to expand our pipelines and increase the value we offer our corporate clients.

Description Product innovation -- the art of taking an existing product and
significantly improving it -- has brought us some amazing
advances. For example, the iPod replaced the Walkman, HDTV
increased the picture quality of existing cable TV's, and the
ubiquitous mouse completely revolutionized a user's computer
experience.

One product that has not fundamentally changed since its
inception (and was in dire need of innovation) has recently
undergone more than just a facelift. In fact, it has been
totally redesigned. Tesla Motors has developed a car that can
outrun a Ferrari for a third of the cost, without the use of a
combustion engine, and it looks simply spectacular.

Please join Martin Eberhard of Tesla Motors (Founder and CEO),
and panelists Robert Acker of Dash Navigation (Sr. VP of
Marketing), Dave Blakely of IDEO (Director of Technology
Strategy), and Dave Mathews of Sling Media (Director of Product
Innovation) in a discussion featuring the new Tesla Roadster and
other products at the forefront of consumer innovation. Robert
Scoble of Podtech (VP of Business Development) will be moderating
the event.
